Shop Local Challenge

Could you give up supermarkets for a year?

Becka Pugh and her family recently succeeded in doing exactly that.  Not only that but they saved money in the process, while eating tastier and more healthy food.

Taking inspiration from this, we have issued the Shop Local Challenge to encourage others to try and go supermarket free for 12 months. If they can do it so can you!

If you want to take up the challenge get in touch using the contact form.

You can read more about how Team Pugh did it on their blog A Year Without Supermarkets

I am a local book and map wholesaler and where possible support independent stores both book trade and non-book trade retailers.
Sadly many retailers while asking for local support do not source locally. I know we are competitive. Many retailers even admitting to paying more from large national companies. Why?
Recently we have been supplying our local Cooperative Supermarket chain. Without their support we could not continue to supply the full range we offer. Their business allow us to also offer our deals to our independent customers.
Shop local works both ways, so retailers think about your restock
